Explorer Extreme is Montblanc's Explorer taken deeper, bright bergamot over earthy woods and a warm leather-amber base. Released in 2025, it was composed by Givaudan perfumers Jordi Fernández and Antoine Maisondieu, who also worked on the original Explorer. It opens with a clean burst of bergamot, turns earthy with patchouli and vetiver, and dries down on leather and amber. Where the original Explorer is fresh and woody, this version leans darker and warmer, while keeping the same easy-to-wear core.
